				سَأَلَ سَائِلٌ بِعَذَابٍ وَاقِعٍ

				لِلْكَفِرينَ لَيْسَ لَهُ دَافِعٌ
	5375 2632 4276 2191 1417 70:2			The unfaithful have no defender against-
				مِنَ اللَّهِ ذِي الْمَعَارِجِ
	5376 2633 4277 2192 1778(2645) 1418 70:3			God, possessor of the highest heights.
				تَعْرُجُ الْمَلائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ إِلَيْهِ فِي يَوْمٍ كَانَ مِقْدَارُهُ خَمْسِينَ أَلْفَ سَنَةٍ
	5377 2634 4278 2193 70:4			The angels and the Spirit ascend unto Him in a day that its length is fifty thousand years.
				فَاصْبِرْ صَبْرًا جَمِيلا
	5378 2635 4279 2194 1419 70:5			Therefore be patient, a graceful patience.
				إِنَّهُمْ يَرَوْنَهُ بَعِيدًا
	5379 2636 4280 2195 70:6			They surely see it far away.
				وَنَرَاهُ قَرِيبًا
	5380 2637 4281 2196 1420 70:7			And We see it near.
				يَوْمَ تَكُونُ السَّمَاءُ كَالْمُهْلِ
	5381 2638 4282 2197 70:8			The Day when the vacuum becomes like molten lava.
				وَتَكُونُ الْجِبَالُ كَالْعِهْنِ
	5382 2639 4283 2198 70:9			And the mountains will be like fluffy wool.
				وَلا يَسْأَلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمًا
	5383 2640 4284 2199 70:10			And no friend will ask about a friend.
				يُبَصَّرُونَهُمْ يَوَدُّ الْمُجْرِمُ لَوْ يَفْتَدِي مِنْ عَذَابِ يَوْمِئِذٍ بِبَنِيهِ
	5384 2641 4285 2200 1421 70:11			They will see them. The guilty wishes he could ransom his son on that day to avoid the suffering.
				وَصَاحِبَتِهِ وَأَخِيهِ
	5385 2642 4286 2201 70:12			And his spouse and his brother.
				وَفَصِيلَتِهِ الَّتِي تُؤْوِيهِ
	5386 2643 4287 2202 1422 70:13			And his tribe who raised him.
				وَمَنْ فِي الأرْضِ جَمِيعًا ثُمَّ يُنْجِيهِ
	5387 2644 4288 2203 70:14			And everyone on the land, if only it could save him.
				كَلا إِنَّهَا لَظَى
	5388 2645 4289 2204 70:15			No way, there will surely be hellfire,-
				نَزَّاعَةً لِلشَّوَى
	5389 2646 4290 2205 70:16			-aggressive, ready to burn.
				تَدْعُو مَنْ أَدْبَرَ وَتَوَلَّى
	5390 2647 4291 2206 1423 70:17			Calling on those who turned their back and fled.
				وَجَمَعَ فَأَوْعَى
	5391 2648 4292 2207 70:18			And hoarded and counted.
				إِنَّ الإنْسَنَ خُلِقَ هَلُوعًا
	5392 2649 4293 2208 1424 70:19			Truly, the human was created impatient.
				إِذَا مَسَّهُ الشَّرُّ جَزُوعًا
	5393 2650 4294 2209 70:20			When he suffers any hardship, he whines.
				وَإِذَا مَسَّهُ الْخَيْرُ مَنُوعًا
	5394 2651 4295 2210 70:21			And when he is blessed, he becomes stingy.
				إِلا الْمُصَلِّينَ
	5395 2652 4296 2211 70:22			Except those who observe the contact prayer.
				الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَى صَلاتِهِمْ دَائِمُونَ
	5396 2653 4297 2212 1425 70:23			Those who regularly observe their contact prayer.
				وَالَّذِينَ فِي أَمْوَلِهِمْ حَقٌّ مَعْلُومٌ
	5397 2654 4298 2213 70:24			And those who set aside a rightful share from their  money-
				لِلسَّائِلِ وَالْمَحْرُومِ
	5398 2655 4299 2214 70:25			-for the beggar and the deprived.
				وَالَّذِينَ يُصَدِّقُونَ بِيَوْمِ الدِّينِ
	5399 2656 4300 2215 70:26			And those who acknowledge the truth regarding the Day of Faith.
				وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ مِنْ عَذَابِ رَبِّهِمْ مُشْفِقُونَ
	5400 2657 4301 2216 70:27			And those who fear the punishment of their Lord.
				إِنَّ عَذَابَ رَبِّهِمْ غَيْرُ مَأْمُونٍ
	5401 2658 4302 2217 70:28			Indeed there is no security from the punishment of their Lord.
				وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لِفُرُوجِهِمْ حَفِظُونَ
	5402 2659 4303 2218 1426 70:29			And those who keep their chastity.
				إِلا عَلَى أَزْوَجِهِمْ أَوْ مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَنُهُمْ فَإِنَّهُمْ غَيْرُ مَلُومِينَ
	5403 2660 4304 2219 70:30			Except with their spouses or those who are rightfully theirs, then they are not to be blamed.
				فَمَنِ ابْتَغَى وَرَاءَ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْعَادُونَ
	5404 2661 4305 2220 1427 70:31			But those who transgress beyond this, then these are in opposition.
				وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ لأمَنَتِهِمْ وَعَهْدِهِمْ رَاعُونَ
	5405 2662 4306 2221 70:32			And those who are highly trustworthy and keep their word.
				وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ بِشَهَدَتِهِمْ قَائِمُونَ
	5406 2663 4307 2222 70:33			And those who stand by their testimonies.
				وَالَّذِينَ هُمْ عَلَى صَلاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ
	5407 2664 4308 2223 70:34			And those who remember their contact prayers.
				أُولَئِكَ فِي جَنَّتٍ مُكْرَمُونَ
	5408 2665 4309 2224 70:35			These will dwell as honored ones in paradises.
				فَمَالِ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا قِبَلَكَ مُهْطِعِينَ
	5409 2666 4310 2225 70:36			Therefore, what is preventing the unfaithful from joining you?-
				عَنِ الْيَمِينِ وَعَنِ الشِّمَالِ عِزِينَ
	5410 2667 4311 2226 1428 70:37			-From the right and from the left, en masse?
				أَيَطْمَعُ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ مِنْهُمْ أَنْ يُدْخَلَ جَنَّةَ نَعِيمٍ
	5411 2668 4312 2227 70:38			Does every one of them wish to enter the blissful Paradise?
				كَلا إِنَّا خَلَقْنَهُمْ مِمَّا يَعْلَمُونَ
	5412 2669 4313 2228 70:39			No way, We have created them and they know from what.
				فَلا أُقْسِمُ بِرَبِّ الْمَشَرِقِ وَالْمَغَرِبِ إِنَّا لَقَدِرُونَ
	5413 2670 4314 2229 70:40			Therefore, I swear by the Lord of  all eastern locations and the western locations that We are indeed fully capable-
				عَلَى أَنْ نُبَدِّلَ خَيْرًا مِنْهُمْ وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمَسْبُوقِينَ
	5414 2671 4315 2230 1429 70:41			-of substituting instead of them, those who are better than them and We will never be overtaken.
				فَذَرْهُمْ يَخُوضُوا وَيَلْعَبُوا حَتَّى يُلاقُوا يَوْمَهُمُ الَّذِي يُوعَدُونَ
	5415 2672 4316 2231 70:42			Therefore, let them blunder and play around until they come face to face with their appointed day.
				يَوْمَ يَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الأجْدَاثِ سِرَاعًا كَأَنَّهُمْ إِلَى نُصُبٍ يُوفِضُونَ
	5416 2673 4317 2232 1430 70:43			The day when they come out of the graves in a hurry, as though they are herded to the altars.
				خَشِعَةً أَبْصَرُهُمْ تَرْهَقُهُمْ ذِلَّةٌ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمُ الَّذِي كَانُوا يُوعَدُونَ
	5417 2674 4318 2233 70:44			With their eyes subdued, humility overwhelms them. This is the day that was promised.
